About Scarborough Woodpigeon Club
We provide a free crop protection service to farmers throughout the local area and can turn out to shoot woodpigeons almost every day of the year. Scarborough Woodpigeon Club has been established for over 40 years. We currently have over 50 fully insured members. All Club Members possess a current shotgun or firearms certificate issued by their local police force. We abide by strict set of Club rules which ensure that all Club Members always conduct themselves in an exemplary manner. We value the shooting permission granted to us and aim to maintain our excellent reputation with the local farming community. The Club is affiliated to the British Association for Shooting and Conservation (BASC). This brings with it many benefits including £10 million legal liability cover, £10 million employer liability cover, £10 million product liability cover and up to £35,000 personal accident cover for each individual Club Member.
